Readme is a self-funded project gearing up for a fair launch of its $READ token in early January 2024.

This launch, set to ensure equitable access to the token for all users, marks the moment when $READ becomes tradable. In preparation, the token's smart contract will be open-sourced and shared with the community before the token pair is created on the Ethereum blockchain.

The anticipated date for this milestone is January 3, 2024 – a symbolic nod to the 15th anniversary of the creation of Bitcoin's first block.

In line with our commitment to bypass public sales, presales, or venture capital funding, Readme will implement a buy-and-sell tax system within the $READ token contract. This move aims to accelerate the platform's development and growth.

• Buy Tax: Each purchase of $READ tokens will incur a 5% tax.

• Sell Tax: A similar 5% tax is levied on all $READ token sales.

The revenue from these taxes will be directly reinvested into Readme, boosting marketing initiatives, fostering community engagement, and supporting continuous development efforts.
